Psa 91:1 (KJV) He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.

A. In the presence of haunting sin, God’s love reaches to rescue.
1. He offers and provides forgiveness.

Psa 103:2 (KJV) Bless the LORD, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits:

1ST JOHN 1:9

B. In the face of lingering sickness and disease, we remember He is the lord who heals us. He is Jehovah - Rapha, the Lord that healeth.
1. Illness can be a discouraging curse, even to a believer. We must always be certain to face sickness with the calm assurance that we are in the hands of the Lord. We must not allow the spirit of faith to leave us when we are sick. That is one of the critical times in our life when faith is vital for our very existence.
ISAIAH 53:5
Isa 53:5 (KJV) But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed.
1ST PETER 2:24
1 Pet 2:24 (KJV) Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed.

2. Sickness often brings lonely hours which seem to intensify the pain. In order to keep sickness from becoming a tool in the hands of the devil, we must learn to pray in the power of the Spirit. Use the vehicle of communication God has given his children (the Holy Ghost) in order to retain your position of superiority over the enemy and his temptations. Do not allow doubt, fear and hopelessness to overwhelm you. Trust God !!

C. He is your safe, secure hiding place in a world which is troubled on every side. He is Jehovah - Shalom; He is your peace.
1. He has the power to keep you safe from the attacks of the enemy who wants to destroy your hope and your life.

ISAIAH 59:19
