PREPARING FOR YOUR HEALING
James 5:13
(KJV) Is any among you afflicted? let him pray. Is any merry? let him sing psalms.James 5:14
(KJV) Is any sick among you? let him call for the elders of the church; and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord:James 5:15
(KJV) And the prayer of faith shall save the sick, and the Lord shall raise him up; and if he have committed sins, they shall be forgiven him.James 5:16

Mark 5:25 (KJV) And a certain woman, which had an issue of blood twelve years,
Mark 5:26 (KJV) And had suffered many things of many physicians, and had spent all that she had, and was nothing bettered, but rather grew worse,
Mark 5:27 (KJV) When she had heard of Jesus, came in the press behind, and touched his garment.
Mark 5:28 (KJV) For she said, If I may touch but his clothes, I shall be whole.
Mark 5:29 (KJV) And straightway the fountain of her blood was dried up; and she felt in her body that she was healed of that plague.
Mark 5:30 (KJV) And Jesus, immediately knowing in himself that virtue had gone out of him, turned him about in the press, and said, Who touched my clothes?
Mark 5:31 (KJV) And his disciples said unto him, Thou seest the multitude thronging thee, and sayest thou, Who touched me?
Mark 5:32 (KJV) And he looked round about to see her that had done this thing.
Mark 5:33 (KJV) But the woman fearing and trembling, knowing what was done in her, came and fell down before him, and told him all the truth.
Mark 5:34 (KJV) And he said unto her, Daughter, thy faith hath made thee whole; go in peace, and be whole of thy plague.
A.. ACKNOWLEDGE YOUR NEED FOR HEALING.
1. IDENTIFY YOUR NEED. SORT IT OUT FROM COMMON ACHES AND PAINS.
2. NAME YOUR NEED TO THE LORD.
3. GIVE YOUR NEED (ILLNESS) UP TO THE LORD.
B. UNDERSTAND THAT SATAN DOES NOT WANT YOU TO BE HEALED.
1. HE WANTS YOU TO BE A HURTING CHRISTIAN.
2. HE WANTS YOUR TESTIMONY TO BE HINDERED.
3. HE WANTS TO INJURE YOUR SPIRIT BY AFFLICTING YOUR BODY.
C. BELIEVE THAT GOD WANTS TO HEAL YOU. CONTINUE TO BELIEVE UNTIL THE HEALING IS ACCOMPLISHED.
1. PART OF THE PRICE JESUS PAID ON CALVARY.
2. YOUR HEALING HONORS JESUS.
Of the
1,257 narrative verses in the Gospels, 484 verses (38.5 percent !) are devoted to describing the healing miracles of Jesus. Jesus embodied the Kingdom of God, saving and healing people. He also equipped the disciples to heal, that they might effectively advance the Kingdom of God. He trained and sent the Twelve and the Seventy-two; He included healing in the great commission; and throughout the Book of Acts the disciples healed the sick.3. YOUR TESTIMONY AND FAITH WILL BE STRONGER AS YOU ARE HEALED.
4. YOUR PRAYER LIFE WILL BE ENERGIZED.
5. YOUR HEALING BUILDS UP THE BODY OF CHRIST.
6. YOUR HEALING DESTROYS SATAN’S EFFORT TO SEPARATE YOU FROM GOD.
